Counseling Services Offered:
What is Counseling For Pre-Teens?
Counseling for pre-teens focuses on helping children navigate emotional and behavioral challenges while strengthening connection within the family. The goal is to reduce problem behaviors—such as anxiety, low mood, or anger outbursts—while increasing confidence, emotional awareness, and overall family cohesion.
Parent involvement is also an important part of the process. I partner with parents to provide tools and strategies that support their child’s growth at home, helping create more positive communication, understanding, and connection within the family.
What is Counseling For Adolescents?
Sessions are primarily one-on-one with your teen, creating a safe and supportive space where they can talk openly and build skills. I work collaboratively with teens by asking what feels hard in their daily life and what they would like to see change, empowering them to take an active role in the process. Common goals include lowering anxiety and depression, reducing emotional outbursts, building confidence, and exploring future goals.
What is Counseling For Adults?
Counseling for adults provides a supportive space to navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns. Adulthood often comes with ongoing transitions, pressure to make important decisions, and shifts in identity, relationships, and expectations. Therapy offers a place to slow down, reflect, and work through these experiences without having to do it alone.
I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a strengths-based approach to help you better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll develop practical tools to manage anxiety, regulate emotions, and challenge unhelpful thought patterns in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.
